Cutera Excel V
The Cutera Excel V is primarily a vascular laser, but is also wide-ranging in its cababilities. With a 532nm/1064nm wavelength, it excels with rosacea, telangiectasia, angiomas, and poikiloderma. It is also able to treat red scars, vascular birthmarks, leg veins (under 4mm), and various pigmented lesions with good results. With its 1064nm wavelength, it can be used for hair removal on skin types IV-VI as well, which can be difficult and with higher risk using other laser systems. Additionally, it can be used for some insurance-billable treatments, such as wart removal and onychomycosis.

Lumenis Lightsheer
The Lumenis Lightsheer is an 810nm diode laser used for laser hair removal, most effective with skin types I-IV, but with settings able to treat skin types V and VI as well if the Excel V is not being used. For laser hair removal, the hair must have pigment, therefore gray hair will generally not work, and light blonde or red hair can require more treatments than darker hair. This treatment generally takes 6 sessions monthly, one after the next, for final results. Some patients may require a touch-up treatment after a year.
Q-Switched Lasers
These lasers include the Cynosure Medlite and Epicare Alexandrite TA2 Eraser. The Medlite is capable of 532nm, 650nm, and 1064nm. It does very well for tattoo removal of most colors, and is excellent for removal of lentigines and many pigmented birthmarks. The Alexandrite laser is a 755nm, and is effective for treating stubborn blue/green ink in tattoos. With the combination of these two lasers, all colors of tattoo ink can be treated. They are also effective for treatment of traumatic tattoos, caused by foreign objects such as pencil lead, asphalt, or fireworks.

Deka SmartXide DOT
The Deka DOT is a 10,600nm CO2 laser, most effective for fine lines and wrinkles. The DOT can also treat some hypertrophic scars, acne scars, and fine brown spots. Capable of both fractional and ablative settings, we can easily control how aggressive we are based on the patient and providers comfort level with post-op care and down time.
